The administration, faculty, and staff of Boiling Springs High School…

1) commits to providing the student the best educational opportunities possible.

2) commits to working with the student and parent(s) or guardian(s) to resolve any problems which may arise during the school year.

3) commits to providing a safe, orderly, drug and violence free environment.

4) pledges zero tolerance for unsafe actions, drugs (including tobacco) and violence on school grounds and at school sponsored functions.

5) pledges to focus on academic and other success for the student.

The student and parent(s) or guardian(s)…

1) acknowledge problems from the previous school year and commit to eliminating them for the current school year.

2) acknowledge and understand that the student is attending on a probationary basis. Any  lack of cooperation with faculty and staff or any violations of the school policies, rules and discipline code, may result in immediate recommendation for expulsion or alternative school.

3) acknowledge and understand that the discipline record for the previous year will not be eliminated until the student successfully completes the current school year  without an infraction.

4) acknowledge and understand that this behavior contract will be in effect until graduation/transfer.

5) acknowledge and understand enrollment is conditioned upon residence in the proper attendance area.

6) agree to maintain an outstanding attendance record and be on time (no tardies) to class.

7) agree to maintain a positive attitude and work ethic for all classes, completing all assignments.
